Long awaited – now finally back: The Tamiya Ford F-150 Ranger XLT, the third and final model of the legendary SRB family, returns to the RC scene. This reissue of the 1981 classic combines an authentic vintage look with targeted technical and visual updates that were unavailable in the original version.

The inspiration, the Ford F-150 Ranger XLT from the early 1980s , stands for angular design, robust construction, and the typically powerful presence of American pickup trucks. The Ranger's interior was considered particularly high-quality and offered distinctive details such as two-tone paint schemes and chrome accents. Tamiya has meticulously recreated this character in the re-edition.

The kit adopts the proven body shape and supplements it with newly molded scale components such as side mirrors, windshield wipers, headlights (LED-compatible), a detailed front section with grille and bumper protector, and a front "stealth" body mount . This internal mounting eliminates visible drilling and ensures a particularly realistic look.

The model is rounded off by true-to-life Ford emblems , revised stickers and three-piece central locking wheels with semi-pneumatic block profile tires – a real eye-catcher for scale fans and collectors of classic Tamiya models.
