Mugen Seiki MBX-8 "R" ECO 1/8 4WD Off-Road Electric Buggy Kit - E2028

Following the success of the MBX8R kit, Mugen Seiki now also offers an MBX8R Eco, which contains many of the parts of the MBX8R.

The new Mugen Seiki MBX8R Eco Buggy has been tested and developed by the best drivers in the world and you can get your hands on it soon!
The Mugen Seiki team spent a lot of time testing and developing the MBX8R's geometry in racing conditions in 2021, resulting in many important victories.

Ryan Maifield won the Dirt Nitro Challenge and the ROAR 1/8 Electric Nationals again in 2021!

The MBX8R Eco has many new parts to increase stability and rear traction, improve jumping and have a wide range of tuning.

Suspension:
New suspensions and geometry.
The MBX8R Eco uses new, narrow RF (C) and RR (D) pivot blocks with new pivot inserts for improved tunability.
New longer box-shaped wishbones and wishbone stiffeners. The rear control arm is made of an impact-resistant material that increases durability.
The hardness of the lower wishbones can be adjusted with optional CFRP plates.
The rear steering knuckles are also new for the MBX8R Eco. The molded steering knuckles feature CFRP plates for rear roll center adjustment.

The new front shock tower and upper control arm mount use new pivot inserts for better tunability.

Landing gear:
The MBX8R Eco chassis has a slightly different design to accommodate the new suspension geometry.
The chassis features additional machining to increase droop, chamfers on the front of the chassis to increase ground clearance and is lighter.

New battery holder for 4S Shorty and standard batteries. You can install either short or standard batteries with the new two-piece battery carrier.
The kit comes with 1 holder for 4S short batteries (380mm) and 1 holder for 4S standard batteries (455mm).


Differential and drive train:
High Traction Differentials are included in the MBX8R Eco. The Mugen Seiki HTD ensures better acceleration, longer runtime and smoother handling.
The HTDs also increase stability, traction and improve handling on uneven surfaces. The HTD differentials use new 20-inch internal gears to improve consistency and make the differentials operate more smoothly.
This makes the timing of rhythm passages easier, improves handling on bumpy and grippy roads and helps increase traction.
The MBX8R Eco comes with 13T bevel gears and 44T bevel gears and 46T shaped spur gears in the kit.

New wing and wing mount.
The lightweight, high-downforce wing allows more air to flow to improve jumping. The new IFMAR-approved wing is durable, lightweight and very stable on the track and in the air.
-The revised rear wing mount provides additional downforce and increases durability. The CFRP wing plate will be available as an optional part.

Additional new parts for the MBX8R Eco:
-New stabilizer boots to reduce stabilizer movement.
Emulsion damper caps are included in the MBX8R Eco kit.
-Aluminum wing knob.
- Updated center diff cover with holes for lighting.
