The Tamiya Sand Viper is a versatile 1/10 scale off-road buggy that delivers impressive performance thanks to its robust DT-02 chassis, oil-filled shock absorbers, and fully ball-bearing-equipped drivetrain. Whether on gravel, grass, sand, or off-road tracks, this 2WD buggy provides stable handling and plenty of driving fun.

The lightweight polycarbonate bodywork impresses with its aggressive, modern design. Combined with the yellow dish rims, grooved front tires, and grippy studded rear tires, it creates a striking racing look with excellent grip on a wide variety of surfaces.

DT-02 Chassis – Solid technology for 2WD power

The DT-02 chassis was specifically designed for beginners and ambitious hobby drivers looking for a robust yet powerful vehicle:

  • Low-floor bathtub chassis for optimal weight distribution and high stability
  • Longitudinally mounted battery for low center of gravity
  • CVA oil dampers all around for excellent shock absorption
