TRX® V-cable series connection (double voltage) - C140213

Description

The TRX® V-cable for series connections allows you to connect two battery packs in series. This doubles the voltage while keeping the capacity the same . Ideal for models that require more peak power – but only if the motor, speed controller, and vehicle components are rated for the higher voltage.

The original TRX® connector is compatible with all Traxxas® models and can be used with both NiMH and LiPo batteries .

⚠ Note regarding model selection:
At increased voltage, the gear ratio (pinion/track) must be adjusted to avoid overheating or damage to the motor and ESC.

Tip – Accessories for the shop

Suitable balancer cables are required for the simultaneous charging of series-connected LiPo batteries :

  • #C140215 – for 2S (7.4V)
  • #C140216 – for 3S (11.1V)
